So because of my tendency to work painstakingly slow and put everything off until the last minute, I have decided it's time I started my second piece in order to get all my work done. I am really scared of taking photos for some reason, and I am really new to it, so going out this weekend was kind of a struggle. But I ended up getting some ideas for what I wanted to do, although I need to go out and take some more in order to finalize and make my idea concrete. I want this image to be in charcoal and blue pastel of Alice looking into the thistle in search of the white rabbit. My friend had a dress that was perfect for the shot, but I am still trying to think how I want the thistle to look. Here are some shots I got
.
I really like these photos, and I really like the whole charcoal and just blue idea, but I'm just saying the green really makes the pictures exciting and almost more unworldly!
ReplyDeleteAll the photos have really good composition, excellent work :]
Me too! It takes me so long to get work finished. But it sounds like your making headway, with the charcoal and blue pastel idea. I think that will make it more classy (classier?) and will also help bring the focus to Alice amongst all the craziness of Wonderland. Excited to see everyones concentration peices!
ReplyDeleteI think if you did a majority of the pieces in charcoal with just an accent in blue or something like that, it could be cool. If you overused the blue it could get weird though.
